Opposition nominates new candidate for European Integration Committee chair

The opposition Strong Armenia faction has nominated its MP Harutyun Harutyunyan for chair of the Committee on European Integration.

Fellow faction MP Arega Hovsepyan presented Harutyunyan’s biography to lawmakers.

Hovsepyan was Strong Armenia’s previous nominee for chair of the Committee on European Integration but failed to secure enough votes for confirmation.
