Shant Sargsyan wins 2nd consecutive silver, this time at 2019 World Junior Chess Championship

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Days after becoming the runner-up of the World Youth Chess Championship 2019 in Mumbai, India, Armenia’s Shant Sargsyan again came in second at the World Junior Chess Championship 2019 in New Delhi.

GM Sargsyan won silver after defeating Spain’s Ruiz Santos in the last round of the event, scoring 8,5 points from 11.

Armenia’s Aram Hakobyan came in as second runner up.

Evgeny Shtembuliak of Ukraine won gold.
