YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. For the first time ever, restaurants near Lake Sevan are organizing the Eco Fish Fest festival in the Sevan Peninsula, where they will present their cuisine to visitors.

“The festival has ecological emphases, that is why we named in Eco Fish Fest,” Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan told a press conference.

“It differs from other festivals with the fact that we are starting by cleaning the entire surroundings of Lake Sevan. We will start a big community cleaning day from 10:00 until 13:00. All provincial agencies will participate, and we will do this all jointly with the Sevan National Part,” Sanosyan said.

Executive Director of the Armenian Association of Restaurants Vahe Gevorgan said the festival might become an annual event and encompass international presence. “From next year we are also planning to organize themed seminars regarding the issues of Lake Sevan,” he said.

Eco Fish Fest will take place September 14^th at the Sevan Peninsula.
