President appoints head of Yerevan First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction

YEREVAN, AUGUST 8, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian has signed an order on appointing Artur Mkrtchyan President of the Yerevan First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction.

Mkrtchyan, a judge at the same court, was appointed for a three-year term.

The appointment was made based on Constitutional provisions as well as the August 2, 2019 recommendation presented by the Supreme Judicial Council.
