Parliament adopts state property privatization program 2017-2020

YEREVAN, JUNE 8, ARMENPRESS. The Parliament of Armenia adopted the bill on ‘State Property Privatization Program 2017-2020’ at the first reading, reports Armenpress.

57 MPs voted in favor of the bill, with 22 votes against.

The program proposes to privatize 47 state-owned companies, 23 out of which have been included in the 2006-2007 privatization program. Under the proposed program, ‘HayPost’ CJSC, Tashir film network’s property, HayFilm movie studio, Hrazdan Sports Complex CJSC, airport of Stepanavan, a number of healthcare organizations and etc will be privatized.
