Armenian wines to be presented in MUNDUS VINI Awards in Germany

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS. By the assistance of the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI), Viticulture and Winemaking FoundationofArmeniaorganizes “MUNDUS VINI 20th Grand International Wine Awards” and Gala dinner with the participation of Armenia winemaking companies on February 25 in the German city of Neustadt during which Armenian wines will be served, press service of the Foundation told “Armenpress”.

MUNDUS VINI Awards is being held since 2001 and is considered one of the prominent awards in the world. This year 52 kinds of wines will be assessed by a jury comprised of 100 prominent professionals of various countries of the world. The grading will be 100-point scale. The combination of criteria such as color, smell, taste and harmony is the base of this mathematical method. The winners can claim Great Gold, Gold and Silver awards.

During the previous years some Armenian wines also received various MUNDUS VINI Awards.

The participation of the Armenian wines in MUNDUS VINI Awards will raise their reputation, and will facilitate the access to the market for the winner wines.

19 Armenian winemaking companies have submitted applications for participation in the Awards.
