RPA proposes to rename Diaspora Ministry into Ministry of Diaspora and Repatriation

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The RPA faction of the Parliament proposes to rename the Ministry of Diaspora into Ministry of Diaspora and Repatriation, RPA faction Secretary Gagik Melikyan said, reports “Armenpress”.

He said the proposal can be included in the draft proposed by the Government and can have a serious impact on the activity of the Ministry of Diaspora.

“The RPA suggests to rename the Diaspora Ministry into Ministry of Diaspora and Repatriation. By this, not only the name, but also the function will change in order to assist, suggest, help our fellow citizens to carry out repatriation”, he said.

Gagik Melikyan said this change will have a positive impact also on raising the country’s economic efficiency.
