Chairman of Armenia's Constitutional Court hosts U.S. Ambassador

YEREVAN, MARCH 2, ARMENPRESS. The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Harutyunyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to the Republic of Armenia Richard Mills. The Press Service of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the Ambassador expressed regret that this cognitive visit delayed due to the busy agenda of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court.

Among other things, Mr. Harutyunyan introduced the history of creation of the Constitutional Court and peculiarities of its activity to the newly appointed Ambassador. After, upon the request of the guest, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Harutyunyan introduced the process of constitutional reforms in Armenia and future activities. The both sides highlighted the strengthening of the U.S. Embassy – Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia ties and reached agreement on further cooperation.
