Armenian Museum in USA exhibits Lebanese-Armenian young painter’s works

YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. The work exhibition by Lebanese-Armenian young painter Harut Jorekjian has launched in Watertown city of the USA since January 12. “Armenpress” reports citing the Wicked Local website that the exhibition has launched in the Armenian Museum of the USA and will continue until February 23. 41 works are presented to the exhibition.

19-year-old Harut Jorekjian began painting in early childhood. Jorekjians’ family moved from Beirut to the USA in 2010 and settled in Watertown in 2011. He is a student at College of Massachusetts University on Pharmaceutics and Healthcare specialty.

Museum curator Gary Lind-Sinanian noted that the Museum is happy to exhibit Jorekjian’s works. “We found that it will be nice to encourage young artists. His works, even black and white ones, are actually very attractive,” Lind-Sinanian said.
