YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS:
As a result of wide-scale of excavation works in the ancient Armenian capital of Artashat graphic images have been found near the earlier excavated public baths. Such art samples are for the first time discovered in the region relating to that period of time.
Speaking to Armenpress, head of the excavation group Zhores Khachatryan said, the images have been discovered on one of the walls of the baths. "They are done in a free style, by different people, in some cases one image comes on the other. There are also unfinished images, Zhores Khachatryan said.
