We didn’t hear anything new – Speaker Alen Simonyan on Russian FM’s recent statement on Nagorno Karabakh

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Alen Simonyan believes that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s recent statement on Nagorno Karabakh doesn’t require a reaction.

“What is there to respond? I think everything is clear, and it is a process that shouldn’t be bothered now. By and large, nothing new to us was voiced,” Simonyan told reporters.

In a recent interview, Lavrov had said that “for a very long time Armenia had occupied seven regions of Azerbaijan and Baku returned its lands.”
