Russia asks Armenia to explain banning lawmaker Zatulin and RT head Margarita Simonyan
15:40, 27 October 2022YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Moscow has formally asked Yerevan to provide explanations regarding banning lawmaker Konstantin Zatulin and RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan from entering Armenia.
“We’ve immediately applied to the Armenian side through diplomatic channels for official confirmation [of the news] and explanations. We’ve seen such reports, we’ve officially asked to explain whether it is true and what are the reasons if it is confirmed,” Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing.
