Armenian Foreign Ministry summons Belarusian Ambassador over FM’s remarks on Pelosi visit

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. The Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Armenia over the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s remarks on the recent visit of the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Yerevan, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan in comments to News.am.
“The head of the diplomatic mission of Belarus in Armenia has been summoned to the Armenian Foreign Ministry where he was provided with the concern and considerations of the Armenian side regarding the abovementioned statement”, Vahan Hunanyan said.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei told at a recent press briefing that the visits such as that of Nancy Pelosi to Armenia contribute to escalation of conflicts.
Nancy Pelosi visited Armenia on September 17 on a two-day official visit.
