Parliament commission probing 2020 war to include classified report in autumn session

An Armenian parliamentary commission probing the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war will include its report in the agenda of the autumn session this year, a senior MP in charge of the commission has said.

MP Andranik Kocharyan, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security Affairs, who serves as the Chairman of the commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war, told journalists that the report contains heavily classified information and the session will be closed.

The autumn session will begin on September 30. 

The Speaker will include the item in the agenda of the Council to determine the exact date, Kocharyan said.

The report will be accessible to authorized bodies with relevant security clearance.
