Cyprus to open diplomatic representation in Yerevan - Cyprus Foreign Ministry

YEREVAN, MARCH 7, ARMENPRESS.  In 2024, Cyprus is set to open a diplomatic representation  in Yerevan, aiming to serve as a platform for fostering and strengthening friendly relations with Armenia. 

The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos , who is on an official visit to Armenia, said during a press conference held on March 7.

"As I have already mentioned, Cyprus and Armenia are connected by friendship, traditional and historical ties formed over the centuries. The Armenian community of Cyprus plays a key role in bridging our societies.

I am delighted to announce that in the forthcoming months, the Republic of Cyprus will open a diplomatic representation in Yerevan.

I would like to underscore the importance of this development. It is symbolic, yet at the same time, it will serve as a platform that will lead to further deepening and strengthening of our bilateral cooperation agenda, which is what we want, "Kombos said.
