1st Robotex Armenia International Robotics Festival to take place November 9

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The first ever Robotex Armenia International Robotics Festival will be held in Yerevan on November 9.

Robotex Armenia is the Armenia version of Robotex International, which is based in Estonia.

“This year we invited the festival to Armenia under our own program. Usually remote-controlled robots are presented at the festival, however an automatic robot festival will take place in Armenia,” said Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises Executive Director Karen Vardanyan.

“Our goal is to make Armenia a center of robotics tournaments”, he added.

41 teams representing different countries will compete at the festival.

The festival is organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises and sponsored by Ucom.

The Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises is a full member of Robotex International.
