Major General Vrezh Gabrielyan appointed Head of Rescue Service

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Major General Vrezh Gabrielyan to serve as Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Major General Gabrielyan was serving as Deputy Director of the Rescue Service until this appointment. He has more than two decades of experience in emergency situations management.

Gabrielyan was the interim head of the service after Director Artak Nahapetyan was sacked earlier in October.
