Kim Kardashian applauds US House of Representatives for recognizing Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. Armenian-American reality TV star, entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has once again applauded US lawmakers for passing the House of Representatives resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.

She took to Twitter and said: “Yesterday was such a huge victory for the Armenian people when the US House Of Representatives acknowledged the Armenian Genocide!”

Kim also shared a photo taken of her and her children during her recent trip to Armenia earlier this month.

She was in Armenia as a keynote speaker at the 2019 WCIT. During the visit she also met with President Armen Sarkissian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and also traveled to Etchmiatsin to baptize her children. Her sister Kourtney accompanied her on the trip.

On October 29 the US House of Representatives adopted the Armenian Genocide Resolution (H.Res.296) by a vote of 405 to 11 with 3 voting present.
