YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS. The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) still hasn’t received an answer from NATO regarding its proposal to cooperate, CSTO Acting Secretary General Valery Semerikov said on October 30th.
“In May this year the CSTO Foreign Ministerial Council – aiming at strengthening trust between the organizations and develop cooperation in jointly countering global terror – sent an open message addressed to NATO foreign ministers, to which we still haven’t received an official response. I think comments wouldn’t be necessary here,” he said.
At the same time, he said the CSTO’s cooperation with other organizations, such as the UN and the OSCE, are developing successfully.
