State Service for Food Safety starts inspections in all schools of Artashat town

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The State Service for Food Safety of Armenia has started inspections in all schools of Artashat town of Ararat province following yesterday’s food poisoning incident in one of the schools as a result of which 23 school-children were hospitalized, the State Service for Food Safety told Armenpress.

The inspectors will check whether the sanitary-hygienic conditions of school cafeterias meet the defined norms, whether the foods sold in these cafeterias are in accordance with the demands of the Law on Foot Safety, etc.

The State Service for Food Safety said this process will continue: inspections will be carried out in the schools of all provinces and Yerevan by the end of the year.
