YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan today received the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Deputy Director at the Department of Middle East and Central Asia Athanasios Arvanitis, the ministry told Armenpress.
The minister welcomed the IMF mission’s visit to Armenia, stating that this meeting is a good occasion to sum up the results of the visit and respond to the specialists’ issues of concern.
Athanasios Arvanitis thanked the minister for the meeting and proposed to discuss the progress of structural reforms.
At the request of the IMF delegation, minister Khachatryan introduced the economic indicators of Armenia and the upcoming forecast. The minister also provided information about the current indicators and progress of processing industry.
The meeting also touched upon tourism as a field ensuring inclusive development.
