Ararat Mirzoyan meets with President of the Federal Council of Austria

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. President of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with President of the Federal Council of Austria Karl Bader on September 24 in the sidelines of the 4th conference of the parliament speakers of the Eurasian countries.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the press service of the parliament of Armenia, expressing satisfaction over the warm and active relations between the parliaments of the two countries, Karl Bader emphasized the importance of the active efforts of the friendship groups for fostering the capacities of the parliaments.

Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement by the Austrian parliament, as well as the role of Austria in launching the dialogue on visa liberalization. According to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, the two countries have potential for working together in the directions of strengthening the mechanisms of parliamentarian supervision and developing of the capacities of the parliaments.

The sides also discussed issues related to joint efforts of the two parliaments on bilateral and multilateral parliamentary platforms.
