President Sarkissian holds meeting with famous French entrepreneur Henri Proglio

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian received famous French businessman Henri Proglio, the former Chairman of the Board and CEO of Electricité de France and former CEO of Veolia Environnement, the President’s Office told Armenpress.

The French entrepreneur said he continues working with several key and specialized international groups to attract investments to Armenia. In particular, the meeting participants talked about the cooperation prospects and opportunities in the fields of environment, infrastructural development, waste reprocessing and effective management.

President Sarkissian also touched upon the cooperation opportunities within the frames of the new presidential initiative – Advanced Tomorrow (ATOM) on science and technology development.

The Armenian President met with Henri Proglio back to February this year in Paris. After that the French businessman took part in the Armenian Summit of Minds in Dilijan town organized by the initiative of President Sarkissian.
