Armenian FM declines to comment on POW situation, cites Artsakh's statement

YEREVAN, AUGUST 14, ARMENPRESS. Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan declined to comment on Arayik Ghazaryan, the soldier who has been taken prisoner by Azerbaijan on August 12.

“This is a very delicate issue, and in this regard the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already issued a statement, noting that the Artsakh authorities spare no effort for returning prisoner of war Arayik Ghazaryan to the country,” he said, declining to give further comments given the sensitivity of the issue.

The Private appeared in the Azerbaijani territory after apparently getting lost.
