Minister of emergency situations holds meeting with UNICEF representative for Armenia

YEREVAN, MARCH 25, ARMENPRESS. Minister of emergency situations Felix Tsolakyan received Tanja Radocaj, UNICEF representative in Armenia, the ministry told Armenpress.

Minister Tsolakyan highlighted the implementation of the program signed with the government and the expansion of the ministry’s cooperation with UNICEF.

The minister said the ministry’s main task in its humanitarian mission is to prevent possible disasters.

Tanja Radocaj expressed UNICEF’s readiness to assist Armenia in case of natural and man-made disasters, stating that in the contemporary world no country is free of disasters.

At the end of the meeting the minister expressed hope that as a result of the cooperation with UNICEF children in Armenia will become more protected and informed.
