Pulitzer Prize winner WS Merwin dies at 92

YEREVAN, MARCH 16, ARMENPRESS. American writer, poet and translator William Stanley Merwin has died at the age of 92, RIA Novosti reported.

He died in his sleep at his home on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

WS Merwin was born in New York in 1927. He is an author of a number of essays and plays.

He won Pulitzer Prize two times in 1971 and 2009.
