Solution of Artsakh conflict should be sought based on respect of right to self-determination – Armenian President

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. During their meeting in Yerevan today President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian and Georgian President Salome Zourabichvilidiscussed issues relating to the settlement of regional conflicts, reports Armenpress.

“We shared the same opinion that issues and conflicts are not identical, so the basis of settling them are not identical as well. In my personal view, the solutions should be sought exclusively through peaceful means based on the international law and norms, in Artsakh’s case – on the respect of the right to self-determination”, Armen Sarkissian told reporters following the meeting with his Georgian counterpart.
