Former French PM Dominique de Villepin accepts President Sarkissian’s invitation to visit Armenia

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, who is in Paris on a working visit, met with former Prime Minister of France Dominiquede Villepin, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.

The Armenian President and the experienced French politician exchanged views on the international policy and security issues, touched upon the issues and challenges in the South Caucasian region.

Armen Sarkissian introduced the former French PM on the programs and presidential initiatives, stating that he is consistent with their implementation, and these are programs directed towards future and aim at making Armenia a center of innovative technologies, innovation and startups.

The President invited Dominiquede Villepin to visit Armenia in the nearest future which was accepted by the French politician.
