Iran’s Supreme Leader explains meaning of ‘Down with the US’ expression

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. “Down with the US” expression is not directed against Americans, but against President Trump, his national security advisor John Bolton and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Supreme Leader ofIran Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said, IRNA reports.

“First of all, I should tell Americans: 'Down with the US' means 'Down with Trump,' '(Down with) John Bolton' and '(Down with) Pompeo,' This means 'Down with the US rulers,' who are these people (Trump, Bolton and Pompeo) in this era”, the Supreme Leader said.

"Down with the US means Down with you, a very few number of people who run the country. American people are not our concern", he said.
