YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 5, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan’s rhetoric doesn’t contribute to the development of a favorable atmosphere for peace, Armenian foreign ministry spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan said at a news conference today, addressing a statement from Azerbaijan on “the withdrawal of Armenian forces from Azerbaijani lands” being the key issue of the NK conflict settlement.
“The foreign minister has addressed a similar statement of Azerbaijan, expressing regret. There is nothing new in the Azerbaijani statements. Similar rhetoric doesn’t anyhow contribute to the development of a favorable atmosphere for peace. It is here that we must carry out relevant work by presenting our public with our principled stance, something we are ready to do regularly”, she said.
