Armenian FM highlights ensuring dynamics in Pashinyan-Aliyev meetings

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan says he attaches importance to ensuring dynamics in the meetings between Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“Let’s not get ahead of time in terms of official meetings,” he told reporters today. “It is very significant in order for us to continue building the process in a way to be able to have result. Timeframe issues also have significance, but it is important for the next step to be in a way for us to be able to ensure dynamics,” the FM said.

He expressed hope that the constructive atmosphere over the NK conflict settlement talks is being maintained.

Pashinyan and Aliyev held several unofficial meetings in the past few months during international events, most recently in January during the Davos World Economic Forum.
