Minister Khachatryan discusses proposals relating to Tax Code with businessmen

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS. Minister of economic development and investments Tigran Khachatryan met with a group of representatives of the business community, the ministry told Armenpress.

According to the agreement between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia, the expert group formed by the Union must develop and discuss with the PM a conceptual document for the change of the Tax Code.

Thanks to the presented proposals the Tax Code should become more beneficial and favorable for the business by being acceptable both for the state and the business community.

Not only the UMBA members, but also the representatives of specialized consulting agencies are involved in the preparations of the package of proposals.

During the meeting the expert group presented the draft conceptual package for the change of the Tax Code.

A number of issues presented in the package were discussed with the minister.

The discussion was also attended by deputy finance minister Arman Poghosyan, deputy chairman of the State Revenue Committee Artur Manukyan and deputy minister of economic development and investments Hakob Avagyan.
