New Ambassador of Tunisia presents credentials to Armenian President

YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, ARMENPRESS. Newly appointed Ambassador of Tunisia to Armenia Mohamed Ali Chihi (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.

The Ambassador conveyed the warm greetings of the Tunisian President to Armen Sarkissian.

President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador and wished success in his responsible mission, expressing confidence that he will have his great contribution to the development of the Armenian-Tunisian relations and expansion of the cooperation.

Remembering his meeting with the Tunisian President in Yerevan in October 2018 on the sidelines of the La Francophonie Summit, the Armenian President said the International Organization of La Francophonie is a platform where the two countries can actively cooperate.

The President specifically highlighted the economic partnership, and as a beginning considered necessary to boost the contacts and observe the potential of the two states.
