Defense Army denies Azerbaijani report: Armenian side never targets civilian settlements

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. The defense ministry of the Artsakh Republic released a statement denying another lie of the Azerbaijani propaganda, the ministry told Armenpress.

The statement says: “The monotonous reports released every day by official Baku on the ceasefire violation by the Armenian Army, as well as the report on December 8 according to which the Artsakh Army fired shots from large-caliber machine guns and mortars at the Orta-Karvend village of the Aghdam region, have nothing to do with the reality.

The defense ministry of the Republic of Artsakh announces that the Defense Army forces strictly adhere to the ceasefire regime and never target civilian settlements, and in case of further provocations of the adversary in the frontline the entire responsibility will fall on the Azerbaijani side”.
