Azerbaijani forces open heavy gunfire at Armenian village, civilian buildings

YEREVAN, JUNE 9, ARMENPRESS. In the evening of June 8, Azerbaijani forces once again opened heavy gunfire at Baghanis, a village in Armenia’s north-eastern Tavush province.

“They began shooting between 21:00-23:00. Like previously, they fired PK and DshK heavy machine guns and other firearms with interruptions. Thank God we don’t have significant damages. We have a couple of material damages – a gate, rooftop – the night was calm”, Narek Sahakyan, a local official told ARMENPRESS.

He mentioned that the damages have been calculated by a special commission and submitted to the Governor’s Office, like the previous time.

“All previous damages have been compensated”, Sahakyan said.
