Three consecutive draws for Aronian in Norway Chess Tournament

YEREVAN, JUNE 9, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s chess GM Levon Aronian played his third consecutive draw in the Stavanger’s International Tournament.

Anish Giri was Aronian’s opponent in the third round of Norway Chess Tournament.

At the 53rd move, the two chess players agreed on a draw.

Aronian’s next opponent will be World Champion Magnus Carlsen.

The Armenian chess player is currently ranked 7th with 1,5 points.
