Frontline fully under control: Defense Army commander optimistic over Artsakh conflict settlement issue

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 5, ARMENPRESS. It is necessary to be optimistic over the settlement issue of the Artsakh conflict, Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan, commander of Artsakh’s Defense Army, told reporters, Armenpress reports. According to him, the solution of this issue will be positive.
“Our job is fair, we need to understand what we are fighting for. Everything is motivated and victory will be ours. Azerbaijan will gradually try to escalate the situation to cause damages to us. We will do everything to give final blow if necessary”, the Defense Army commander said.
He said after April 2016 large-scale works have been carried out in the frontline: not only cameras were installed, but also engineering equipment was made, security and living conditions were improved.
“Of course, through the cameras we first of all excluded or minimized the human factor while observing the limited visibility zones. In this sense the frontline is completely under the control”, he said.
