Syrian Army liberates airfield east of Aleppo

YEREVAN, MAY 15, ARMENPRESS. The Syrian Army has liberated the El Jarah military airfield, east of Aleppo, from Islamic State terrorists, Syria Al An reported.

According to Syria Al An, the airfield was liberated after fierce fighting.

The Syrian Governmental Forces also liberated several neighboring villages from ISIS.

Meanwhile the Syrian Democratic Forces are advancing towards Raqqa, which is the main ISIS stronghold in Syria.
