Yerevan Council elections will be videotaped at polling stations

YEREVAN, MAY 3, ARMENPRESS. The Government of Armenia will allocate 38 million AMD to the CEC for guaranteeing the transparency of Yerevan Council elections scheduled on May 14, 2017.

“Armenpress” reports the relevant decision is included in the agenda of the Cabinet’s May 4 session.

These sums will be directed at ensuring videotaping at the polling stations, on-line transmission for the polling stations. The CEC will sign a contract with relevant companies.

3 political forces will participate in the Council elections – the Republican Party of Armenia, Yerkir Tsirani Party and Yelk bloc.
