Oliver Stone’s movie about Russia’s Putin to be screened in US on June 12

YEREVAN, MAY 2, ARMENPRESS. Premiere of US Hollywood film director Oliver Stone’s four-hour movie about Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will be held on June 12 by Showtime American TV, TASS reported.
‘The Putin Interviews’ movie will be broadcast as series in four parts.
Earlier in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper, Oliver Stone said the movie will open the eyes of Americans to a different viewpoint and will tell about Putin’s views on events that took place in 2000 after he became President of Russia.
Oliver Stone is a film director of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010), World Trade Center (2006), JFK (1991) and Platoon (1986). He won three Oscars and also prizes of the Berlin and Venice Film Festivals.
