Military doctors fought for each soldier’s life during April war days

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS. During April four-day war the wounded soldiers received high-quality treatment, as well as love and care in the military hospital, Gayane Hovhannisyan – head of Intensive Care Unit at the Central Military Hospital of the Defense Ministry, told a press conference in Armenpress.

“The April events can never be forgotten, we have survived these difficult days. We remember all wounded soldiers. We can definitely state that we provided specific care and attention to all wounded soldiers, it seemed they were our children”, she said.

Hovhannisyan said the hospital staff fought for every solder’s life with an organized manner, with devotion.

“There was such a situation that we could give ourselves to emotions. Our wounded soldiers demonstrated an unexpected persistence. The desire to live was so great among them which also contributed to their speedy recovery. We managed to treat the boys in a short period of time. There are a number of examples showing the heroic deeds of our soldiers. Today’s youth was criticized in the past, but during those days many people were convinced that today’s youth has still much to do”, Gayane Hovhannisyan said.
