Ruling party MP Mher Sedrakyan quits politics, says wants to engage in entrepreneurship

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. Mher Sedrakyan, lawmaker of the Republican Party faction, decided to leave politics.

Asked by reporters why he hasn’t been included in the proportional or regional lists of the RPA, the Member of Parliament said he didn’t want to, because he has decided to quit politics.

“I didn’t want to be in the list. I’ve decided to quit politics and engage in business”, he said.

He added he is not offended by anyone, he simply made the decision. Sedrakyan denied media reports on having discussions with Gagik Tsarukyan for including his son in the “Tsarukyan” alliance list.
