Speaker Alen Simonyan, Belgian counterpart discuss Armenia-EU partnership

Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan has met with President of the Senate of Belgium Valérie De Bue during his visit to Belgium.

The sides discussed various issues pertaining to interparliamentary cooperation, also covering the broad agenda of strengthening the Armenia-EU ties and the topic of Armenia’s democratic reforms.

Speaker Simonyan presented Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace project and its opportunities for the region.

The issue of the Armenian POWs held in Azerbaijan and other issues of regional interest were also discussed.
