Armenia-Azerbaijan state border delimitation and demarcation process is a new step toward peace - Iran's Ambassador

Iran views the border delimitation and demarcation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a new step toward establishing peace, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani has said, regarding the ongoing Armenia-Azerbaijan state border delimitation process.

“If the process is carried out in accordance with international regulations and the Alma-Ata Declaration, it will contribute to ensuring security and peace in our region. The border between Armenia and Iran is very clear. The negotiations pertaining to the clarification of the internationally recognized borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan cannot impact the Armenian-Iranian border,” said the Ambassador.
