Armenia defense minister hopeful to continue “intensive” military cooperation with United States

YEREVAN, JANUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has rather intense dialogue with the United States in terms of military cooperation, defense minister Vigen Sargsyan said on January 27 at a briefing.

“I hope that dialogue is beyond-party and regardless the results of the US Presidential election, the Pentagon will continue to display interest towards our cooperation programs”, Sargsyan said.

The minister added Armenia is cooperating with the United States in the directions of implementing military-medical and Sergeant staff training programs and organization of joint exercises.

“We have also formed the capabilities of our peacekeepers with the assistance of the United States, and you are very well aware of the skillful actions of our peacekeepers in different locations”, minister Sargsyan said.
