“Sufferings of Armenians aren’t forgotten” - Ozdemir bestowed ANCA Freedom Award

YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. The European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy handed over the ANCA Western Region’s “Freedom Award” to German lawmaker and co-chair of the Alliance 90/The Greens party Mr. Cem Özdemir. The award was presented for contribution and efforts for the adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolution.

ANC-Europe Chair Kaspar Karapetian bestowed the award to the Bundestag MP in Berlin.

“I’m honored. The sufferings of the Armenians are not forgotten”, Ozdemir said.
