Lebanon forms new government, Jean Ogassapian and Avetis Kitanyan among newly appointed ministers

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Lebanon's President, Michel Aoun, and Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri have formed a new government of 30 ministers drawn from most sides of the country's political spectrum and from all of its religious sects, the cabinet office said on Sunday, Reuters reports.

Two ethnic Armenians – Jean Ogassapian and Avetis Kitanyan are among the 30 ministers. Jean Ogassapian has been appointed State Minister of Women’s Affairs and Avetis Kitanyan has been appointed Minister of Tourism, ARMENPRESS correspondent from Beirut reported.
