Iranian President’s visit to Armenia probably to be held until end of 2016 - expert

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. Expert on Iranian studies Vardan Voskanyan says the Iranian President will probably visit Armenia until the end of 2016.

“Judging from the activeness of the Iranian media field, that visit will be held before the New Year. Taking into account the preparation works of such high-level visit, it will probably be held in the second half of December”, he told a press conference in “Armenpress”.

He said in recent years significant steps were taken within Armenia-Iran cooperation framework, which produced their results. It’s time to summarize those results and outline new projects.

The expert said Hassan Rouhani has not visited Armenia yet, this will be his first visit.
