Armenian FM is “inconvenient colleague” for Turkish and Azerbaijani diplomats – political scientist

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Director of Caucasus Institute, political scientist Sergey Minasyan says Edward Nalbandian’s reappointment as Foreign Minister of Armenia was expected, reports “Armenpress”.

He said Edward Nalbandian has such personal qualities which are important for President Sargsyan, however, they are not visible for the public.

“First of all, taking into account the fact that Edward Nalbandian, as a Soviet school diplomat, is rather “inconvenient colleague” for his Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts”, he said.

On October 3 President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on appointing Edward Nalbandian Foreign Minister.
