YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. “The Promise” movie about the Armenian Genocide will become a real evil for Turks, Turkish columnist Ali Eyuboglu published an article in Milliyet newspaper, reports “Armenpress”.
He says for years the Turks have fought against resolutions recognizing the Armenian Genocide in the parliaments of different states that “have become a real disaster”.
“We will face another problem soon”, he writes referring to “The Promise” movie.
He tells that the movie author isfamous “Hotel Rwanda” movie’s director, and the film starsare Christian Bale,Oscar Isaac,Charlotte Le Bon.
The Turkish columnist says the movie is financed by Armenian philanthropist Kirk Kerkorian stating that he was one of the richest people of the US who died at the age of 98 in 2015.
“Armenians said about him: “Azerbaijanis have oil, but we have Kirk Kerkorian”, he writes. He says when the movie will be screened in cinemas, it will become a real evil for Turks.
The premier of the film “The Promise” about the Armenian Genocide was held within the framework of Toronto International Film Festival.
